Sally Sparks, Hopewell, VA

Ms. Sparks serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of Super Kids Ministries. Also, she is a member of First United Methodist Church in Hopewell were she serves as chairperson of the Missions Board and also serves as coordinator of Membership Nurture & Outreach for the United Methodist Women. Sally joined the Super Kids ministry in 2000 and has been active as a counselor in the programs and leadership for the Super Kids. Sally is Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with over 40 years of experience in accounting, financial and management leadership. Retired senior accountant from Logistics Management Resources, Inc, a multi-million Governmental Defense Contracting Corporation. She is active in Hopewell Federated Woman's Club and the Hopewell Woman's Club and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. She holds a BS degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Business Administration.

Lynda Frink, Hopewell, VA

Mrs. Frink became a Christian in February 1979 and is a member of West Hopewell Presbyterian Church where she faithfully serves as Leader/Teacher for the Children’s Ministry. She is a Counselor for the Super Kids Ministry and has worked with the Super Kids for over 13 years. She and her husband Dock Frink have been working with Campground Ministries for over 2 years now. She serves as a teacher twice per month under the Pastor of Grey’s Point Campground. She has been employed by the Hopewell Chemical Federal Credit Union for 30 years. The Hopewell Chemical Federal Credit Union has over $26M in assets. Presently she is the senior manager and oversees all duties for the main office and the branch office. This includes managing all aspects of staffing, overseeing all financial reporting, preparation of board reports; including the annual budget preparation.

Elizabeth Fields, Colonial Heights, VA

Elizabeth has worked with the Super Kids on several special occasions and has taken part in the Annual Christmas dinner/party. She worked with both Julia Skeens and Sally Sparks at Logistics Management Resources as Purchasing Agent until resigning to attain law school. A graduate from Regent University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in law. Regent University is a private coeducational interdenominational Christian university located in Virginia Beach. She is currently Assistant Commonwealth Attorney for the City of Hopewell. Elizabeth is married and lives in Colonial Heights were her father was once police chief.

Julia Skeens, Prince George, VA

Mrs. Skeens attends Joy Fellowship Church in Hopewell. Julia has been active in fundraising for the Super Kids since 2004 and takes part in many of their programs. Julia owns and operates Skeens Print Shop for business printing, since 1999. She retired from Ft Lee, Virginia after 26 ½ years as a Computer Specialist. She is very active in the Hopewell-Prince George Civitan Club and is the Chair of the Relay for Life in Prince George County.

Norma Draper, Hopewell, VA

Actively involved with Super Kids. Grandparent and caregiver for her 24 year old grandson Justin Duvall Virginia. A 2003 graduate of Partners in Policymaking sponsored by the Virginia Board for People with Disabilities. Appointed to the Virginia Board for People with Disabilities by Governor Warner in 2003 and is now serving a term appointed by Governor Tim Kaine in 2009. Has worked with Care Connection for Children and Parent to Parent of Virginia since 2003 and assisted in the development of a Care Coordination Notebook supported by the Virginia Department of Health that helped families manage the care and growth of their child with a disability. Currently serving on the SELN ( State Employment Leadership Network),Tuckahoe Local Human Rights Committee, State Traumatic Brain Injury Committee at Virginia Department of Education, and the Virginia Family to Family Network. Consumer Directed Services Facilitator Medicaid approved provider for the EDCD Waiver with consumer direction and the MR/ID waiver with consumer direction assisting families to set up services in their homes and prevent institutionalization.

Riley E. Ingram, Hopewell, VA

Mr. Ingram attends The Hopewell Church of the Nazarene. Mr. Ingram is the Owner/Broker of Ingram & Associates Real Estate Company, Inc. with one office in Hopewell and a branch office in Chester. Mr. Ingram also serves in the Virginia General Assembly as delegate representing the 62nd House District. The 62nd District includes all of Prince George County and portions of Chesterfield and Henrico Counties and a portion of the City of Hopewell. He was elected in 1991 and serves on the House Committees of Appropriations and chairs the Appropriations Sub-Committee Capital Outlay. He also serves pm Privileges and Elections and is the Chairman for the Counties, Cities and Towns House Committee.

Jerry J. Skalsky, Prince George, VA

Mr. Skalsky attends Monumental Baptist Church and serves there as a Sunday School teacher and in the choir. Mr. Skalsky has been a member of the Prince George County Board of Supervisors since 2000 and served as Chairman in 2004. He spent most of his career working in the public school system in a variety of positions including several years as a Teacher, Coach, Guidance Consoler, Truancy Officer. He also served as the first Juvenile Probation Officer for Prince George County. Mr. Skalsky also serves as is a charter member of the Prince George Volunteer Emergency Crew, since 1969. He also serves on the Board of Governors of the Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads for Prince George, District III and State form 1977 to present. He also has served on several committees such as Central VA health Services, Healthy Families for Prince George/Hopewell, and South center Corridor Resources Conservation and Development.

Ed Coleman, Hopewell, VA

Mr. Coleman serves as Vice President of Super Kids Ministries, Inc. He is a native of Pennsylvania and has resided in the Petersburg/Hopewell area since 1971. He currently owns and operates Living Stones Tax and Accounting in the Richmond/Tri-cities area. He has been following the Lord since 1950 and he currently serves as a Deacon at New Jerusalem Fellowship Church. Edward is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he received a Bachelor of Science in Education. He taught schools in Pennsylvania and Virginia. He retired from the United States Army as a Captain after 7.5 years serving his country in Germany, Virginia, Texas, North Carolina and Viet Nam. He has also retired from the United Postal Service after 22 years. Edward has participated in three mission trips to Germany, Puerto Rico and Alaska. He has served as a Super Kids Camp Counselor at Eagle Eyrie for several years and has also served as volunteer at the Super Kids Christmas parties.

Dolores Lane, Hopewell, VA

Ms. Lane serves as Vice Persident, in charge of Programs, she is also the Founder of the Super Kids Ministry and the Registered Agent of Super Kids Ministries, Inc. with the State Corporation Commission. Mrs. Lane is the instrumental motivation and creator of the Super Kids Ministries, Inc. Her twin sister, Frances Holland, is the reason behind the dream becoming reality of the Frances Holland - Woo Daves Group Home. Mrs. Lane shared the primary caregiver duties with her sister Betty Johnson, in providing quality of care and quality of life for her twin sister. Fran lived in her home, for 10 years after the death of her parents. In the initial years, no other services were offered in the area to minister to the special needs of the mentally challenged, so Mrs. Lane took it upon herself to commence the ministry 29 years ago. The founder of the Super Kids Ministry, has given untold hours of dedication, love and resources to provide services for the mentally challenged, when no public services were available. She has been instrumental in bringing awareness to the "mentally challenged" citizens of the area, beginning with her own demonstration of leadership by example, to bring the "Down syndrome" and other mentally challenged citizens, "out of the closets" and into the community. She has been instrumental in acquiring funds needed to purchase vans, provide programs and promoting the Super Kids Ministries, throughout the state of Virginia. A proven leader and coordinator.

Donald L. Wilson II, Colonial Heights, VA

Mr. Wilson serves as President for the Super Kids Ministry. Don was a resident of Prince George County for twenty-five years and currently resides in Chesterfield County. He retired from civil service with the Department of Army as a software development specialist after serving 31 years and currently works with his son as a General Contractor. Don has been involved with the Super Kids group Home project from the very first meeting and has worked with numerous volunteer members in planning and implementing the building efforts to this point.
